Applications: CAT6 UTP stands for: Category 6 Unshielded twisted pairs. Category 6 UTP cable is LAN type, unshielded twisted pairs capable of data transmission at 250MHz. Category 6 UTP is used as main distribution and client side/terminal connection wire in local area networks. CAT 6 UTP also used in internal telephone wiring and as connection cable for recently developed digital cameras in CCTV applications. Indoor use only.
Structure:Solid bare copper wire conductors. Although most common size is 23awg various sizes could be used. Polyolefin insulation over bare copper conductors. 4 cores color coded according to TIA/EIA 568 solid green, blue,brown and orange. Other 4(four) cores same color scheme striped or ring marked. Cores are twisted into pairs. 4 pairs twisted in layers with polyolefin seperator in the middle. Seperator unit is not a must. PVC Jacket for indoor use..
