Applications: LI2Y(st)CH PIMF is multi core flexible control and command cable with improved protection against EMI. Used in industrial automation systems, computer networks and electronic control systems for data transmission, monitoring, and measurement where there is possibility of electromagnetic interference. PIMF ( Pairs in Metal Foil ) version provides longer transmission distance and larger data volume. LI2Y(st)CH PIMF is designed with HFFR jacket which is flame retardent, has low smoke density and does not emit poisonous and corrosive gasses in case of fire. It is suitable only indoor applications.
Structure:Stranded electrolytic tinned copper wire conductors according to IEC/EN 60228 Class 5. Polyethylene core insulation according to EN 50290-2-23, color coded according to DIN 47100. Cores stranded into pairs. Each pair is individually screened with PES tape , laminated Aluminium foil and tinned copper drain wire. Screened pairs stranded in layers static screen of overall spiral PES tape, Aluminium foil in order to form cable core. Braiding screen of tinned copper wire over cable core. HFFR compound jacket- gray (RAL 7001).
