Applications: LI2Y(st)CY (RS485) is a multi-core flexible control and communication cable designed to be used in RS485 communication systems. It could be also used in industrial automation systems, computer networks and electronic control systems for data transmission, measurement and monitoring purposes. Indoor applications only. Temperature range for fixed installations : -30oC, +70oC.
Structure:Stranded electrolytic tinned copper wire conductors according to IEC/EN 60228 Class 5. Polyethylene core insulation according to EN 50290-2-23, color coded according to DIN 47100. Cores stranded into pairs. Pairs stranded in layers to form cable core. Overall spiral PES tape. Static screen of laminated Aluminium foil with tinned copper drain wire. Braiding screen of tinned copper wire over cable core. Outer sheath of PVC (EN 50290-2-22 TM 51), RAL 7001 - Grey.
