Applications: LIY(st)Y PIMF is "Pairs In Metal Foil" version of LIY(st)Y control cable. It is a multi-core flexible control cable with enhanced static screen capability against electromagnetic interference. LY(st)Y PIMF is used for transmission of the data signal in computer, information and communication networks. Suitable for indoor applications only. LIY(st)Y PIMF cable emits toxic gasses in case of fire so it should not be used in public buildings. Operating temperature range for fixed installations -30oC, +70oC.
Structure:Flexible Copper wire conductors. PVC compound core insulation according to EN 50290-2-21. Cores stranded into pairs. Each pair is individually screened with PES tape , laminated Aluminium foil and drain wire made of stranded tinned copper wire. Screened pairs stranded in layers to form cable core. Helical wrapping of PES tape over cable core. Static screen of laminated Aluminium foil with tinned copper drain wire. Loose-tube insulated PVC based compound jacket according to EN 50290-2-22.
